Beginning his career as a Solicitor in South Africa, he advanced to Director of Legal Affairs and Group HR before transitioning to leadership roles, including CEO of Montefiore Homes in Melbourne. Philip has also lectured in HR at Victoria University and served on Deakin University's Advisory Panel for Disability Studies. His extensive board leadership experience complements his commitment to the NFP sector, where he has championed educational initiatives and regularly speaks on nonprofit leadership. In 2021, Philip was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his service to community organisations.

David holds an honors degree in Psychology and brings ten years of experience from South Africa’s manufacturing and construction sectors. He began his HR career at Anglo American’s Scaw Metals, overseeing HR and ER matters for 7,200 employees. Later, he managed HR for a construction firm specializing in civil infrastructure. In 2001, David founded a recruitment business and, since moving to Australia, has focused on executive recruitment for the construction, engineering, and mining industries. He contributed significantly to SMEC's consulting business, supporting diversity initiatives and growth for 7.5 years. David joined Mayers Recruitment in 2024, partnering with Philip Mayers

After graduating from Monash University in 1999, Rick began his career at Infotrieve Australia Pty Ltd, supporting government, corporate, and NFP clients in the Information Management sector. Over nine years, he handled research, partnerships, key accounts, and HR, building strong client relationships. Inspired by his clients' impact, he transitioned to the NFP sector as a fundraiser, joining Victoria University in 2009, where he managed major gifts, corporate partnerships, and bequests. In 2014, he became Community Fundraising Manager for MOVE, leading up to its rebrand. Rick entered recruitment in 2016, bringing expertise in the NFP sector. In 2018, he co-founded Mayers Recruitment with his father, Philip Mayers.
